Rather than traditional wedding videography, I offer Super 8 wedding films—a nostalgic analog film experience that beautifully complements your photography gallery. It’s perfect for couples who want to preserve movement and emotion in a simple, timeless way.
Do you also offer wedding videography?
Most parts take anywhere from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours—plus travel time between locations. It all depends on your priorities, and I’m here to help you figure that out. I’ll guide you through it and provide a sample timeline so you can start building a schedule that fits your day and keeps everything flowing smoothly.
How long should we allot for X part of the day?
Think about what parts of your day you want documented—from getting ready to the final dance. The more moments you want covered, the more hours you'll likely need.
10 hours is generally the safe bet with Catholic weddings. Full day coverage is recommended if you would like your exit captured! Still unsure? Let’s talk through your timeline together and find the best fit.
How many hours will we need?
A second shooter is great if you need coverage in two places at once—like separate getting ready spots, strict ceremony photography rules, or full cocktail hour and reception coverage. They are also a great option if you value candids. Second shooters are typically booked for around 6 hours.

I’m based in Kansas City, but I regularly travel for weddings in DC. Being invited into a couple’s wedding day is such a gift, and I love documenting Catholic weddings wherever they take place.

What do you mean when you say you aren't a "cringey" Catholic wedding photographer?
Yes! I photograph weddings with a blend of digital and film photography, incorporating both medium format and 35mm film throughout the day. The amount of film included depends on your vision and love for the medium, but I always aim to capture the timeless, nostalgic feeling that film brings to your gallery.
Will we receive both digital and film images?
At this point, yes! I’ve found that Catholic weddings are where I feel most connected to my couples and the meaning behind the day. Sharing that foundation allows me to understand the beauty and reverence of the Sacrament while also celebrating the joy, personality, and fun that make your wedding uniquely yours.
