Because your wedding day is more than an event—it’s a sacrament, a story, and a beginning worth remembering well. I’m here to document it with care and creativity, so you can be fully present to every moment.

I studied Art and Theology at Benedictine College, and both still shape how I see the world. Photography is my way of reflecting the beauty Christ has shown me -- and my way of honoring your vocation with the depth and dignity it deserves.

Preserving Your Wedding Day With Beauty, Reverence, and an Artist’s Eye.

I’m Jackie Marko.

I’d kill for an extra-large Baja Blast—Diet Coke’s a solid backup.

I’m taller than people expect, which works out great for group shots (no step stool needed).

As a kid, I couldn't stand being photographed—so becoming a photographer feels like a full-circle plot twist.

My fiancé John is my rock—more patient than me, more disciplined than me, and endlessly encouraging.

And bride and groom portraits? Always my favorite. Especially if we can sneak off somewhere cool.

What You Should Know About Me

Photography places me inside once-in-a-lifetime moments I’m deeply honored to witness—from proposals and first looks to intimate weddings. Each image reminds me how sacred these milestones are—and what a privilege it is to be there for yours.

More Than a Job—A Deep Honor

These are some of my favorite places, but I’m honored to travel wherever you choose to begin your sacramental journey together.

Santa Fe / Washington D.C.

Chicago / Seattle / New York

Kansas City / St. Louis / Boston

While I'm based in Kansas City, I also travel to photograph Catholic weddings.

Originally from St. Louis, I now live in southern Virginia with my husband, who serves in the Air Force. I’m a graphic designer, lover of beauty, and run my own creative business. At Jackie Marko Photography, I handle client communication, admin tasks, website upkeep, design custom albums, and take care of all the little details in between.

As your main point of contact, I’ll guide you through the planning process—having been a recent bride myself, I know how overwhelming it can be! My goal is to take as much off your plate as possible so you can stay present with your fiancé during this special time.
